LESSONS LEARNED BY A STUDENT

One of my former students Mary Crispi aka Magdalena Soul @ City College of San Francisco, remembered me on MLK Day and felt compelled to reach out to me.

     I taught @ CCSF from 1991-1995. The courses I taught were Black Cinema(1900-1950) & Contemporary Black Cinema(1950-Today).

She used Excerpts from my Films, me giving a Lecture on Black Cinema & me Reading from one of my Books to create two digital-radio programs.

I think she learned her lessons about the Black experience in media. What do you think?
